Russian Customs have over the past few years introduced many new regulations, been more strict in enforcing existing rules and formalized customs duty collections. Up to now, we have been able to absorb these additional costs.

However, the latest round of regulations, duty increases and additional freight charges have forced us to review our rates and restructure pricing according to goods classification and categories.

INSURANCE - The Russia House does not insure consignments or have an overall cover on this service. Consignees should ensure that their consignments have adequate cover.

PACKAGING - Consignees should ensure that their consignments are adequately packed for safe transit. If The Russia House has to re-pack or secure goods an appropriate charge will be made for material and labour.

The Russia House cannot be held responsible for damage or lost goods through transit or goods confiscated or withheld by customs.

The Russia House cannot be held responsible for money lost in transit through theft or confiscation.
