UK/Russia Trade
The Russia House has been proficient in the development and organisation of outward and inward Trade Missions to facilitate and encourage Russian/UK Trade since 1970.
We work with and on behalf of the United Kingdom Trade and Industry, Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations, The Russian Trade Delegation and Russian Regional Chambers.
Where there has been a need but no suitable event, we have instigated and formed our own successful Trade Missions.
Such a situation occurred in 1980 where Avtovaz the Lada car manufacturer, pleaded with us for British Motor Industry, Automobile Parts and Suppliers to come to Togliatti to make presentations. A first for UK and Russia (Soviet Union) with 40 companies joining the Mission and excellent trading results. More recently we have organised market visits to Sochi, being first off the mark in 2009 to start the UK ‘s entry in the 2014 Winter Olympics build, refurbishment and consumer supplies.
We are now concentrating on the 11 FIFA World Cup Cities where British help is needed in every sphere of trade and commerce from building Stadia to providing the cup of tea.
